I invented and reinvented myself many times. I went from pretty pretty princess to the semi-straightlaced-HC-hippie drama queen I am now.
Just a little tidbit for people wondering why I changed my FB name.
Simple. There are a lot of people with the same name and somehow another girl kept getting tagged. She's a businesswoman now and getting tagged in strange photos is not very good, so I decided to change my name to solve the problem once and for all.
I chose Iroko.
My Chinese name is phonetically similar to Iro, in Japanese. Few people manage the original Chinese pronunciation anyway so I gave up on that.
Iro in Japanese, means 'Colour'. The Chinese character is 色. It is the same in Japanese.
色 in Chinese, can refer to someone who has a dirty mind. This describes me well.
Ko in Japanese, means 'Kid' or 'Child'. The Chinese character is 子. Again, same in Japanese.
Iroko reads as 色子. The literal translation is 'Colour Child' or Colour Kid' but in slang, it would mean 'Perverted Child'.
I am a colourful person, also very pervy. This name carries a lot of meaning for me.
For cosplay purposes, I extended it to 色子二人帳. It roughly means, Colour Child's Two Person Record, a reference to how people have mentioned that I have two distinct personalities.
