Episode 1 through 9

So I went on an anime kick and watched episodes one to nine of Kuroshitsuji season 2

Okay, here's the synopsis of Season 1.

Ciel Phantomhive lived a happy life as one of the upper echelons of London until a fire razed his mansion and took his parents. Instead of being saved, he was auctioned off, branded a slave used in a ritual sacrifice.

In the middle of this sacrifice, he called upon someone to save him and unwittingly made a pact with a demon. In exchange for his eternal soul, the demon will help him exact revenge on those who have wronged him.

Enter Sebastian Michaelis, the demon butler of the Phantomhive estate. He can do anything and everything and aids Ciel in his work.

On the surface, Ciel Phantomhive runs the Phantomhive industry, a toy and sweets company. Underneath it all, the Phantomhives have been dogs of the Queen for generations, carrying out her wishes. Eg. Investigations, exterminations so on and so forth. As the last Phantomhive, it's Ciel's duty to continue this job.

He does it and does it very well with Sebastian at his side.

As time progresses, he finds out about the people who wronged him and a fallen angel who has been using the Queen in order to raze London to the ground again.

Long story short, the fallen manages to set London on fire and Sebastian loses an arm. After a long battle where Sebastian is victorious, he takes Ciel to a secluded place in order to devour his soul.

Only, he doesn't.

Here begins season 2.
What I gathered so far:
1. Claude Faustus stole Ciel's soul before Sebastian could devour it.
2. Alois was merely a tool for Claude to get close to Ciel.
3. Sebastian and Claude made a pact to taint Ciel's soul and devour it together.
4. Claude renegaded on the pact and brainwashed Ciel into thinking he's Alois.
5. Sebastian wants revenge. Badly.
