At this point, I took it as a given that he would just take Ciel's soul as stated in the contract but they cut it off.

Should have known that was a foreshadowing for season 2.

For the record, I already dislike Claude for the simple fact that he first appeared as a spider.

I mean seriously, I know he has to have had some traumatic event happen to him for Claude to offer him a contract but gouging out an eye? W.T.F. In the first episode no less.

At first I thought this was gratuitous fanservice since Ciel also wore a dress in the first season and for a good reason I might add. I immediately went on Aarin to check out the thread. Turns out he's a chronic cross-dresser.

Ho yes. The main character of Black Butler season 2, cross-dresses on a regular basis.

It's safe to say that Season 2 has no yaoi overtones at all. None. They totally quit with the overtones. They're now shoving it right into our faces. 83

So people like to cross-dress, big deal right? Should I mention that Claude's catchphrase is "I'll greedily devour you to the bitter end"? I'll leave that for others to decode. >>

Alois also appears to have a major, major, major crush on Ciel. As in "I like you so much, Imma gonna lick your ear" kind of crush.

Hot damn I want his boots and his shorts and his totally unrealistic figure. I want to dress up like Alois and run around town ;.; so badly.
