How does a person who’s always tired know what this feels like? It’s not the high after a particularly good session. It’s not like the drowzy dozing sensation where everything is just right for sleeping. It’s not even the dead physical weight of cycling 40 km in half an hour without stopping.
It’s vertigo when you stand, vertigo when you sit, vertigo when you blink and then a dead pain ache in every single bone and your mind is begging you to go to sleep but you can’t.
Because you want to write. You want to draw. A million and one things that need to happen right now even though you’re tired.
I don’t even need the white room.
