Last page, we left off with Cain stepping over Deimos. Deimos looking up at him in trepidation.

I thought that it was entirely in Cain's character if he were to deliver a kick to the little mouse, just to get his point across but to my great relief, Cain doesn't

Instead, he goes over the the hook and retrieves his jacket. We see him putting it on as Deimos gingerly gets up from his place on the floor.

Cue evil, slightly sadistic and smug smirk from Cain and a jaunty little wave. "Thanks for the tip, Kiddo." He says as he leaves.

Cut to Deimos. By the shadow on the mouse's face, we can deduce that Cain probably leaves without even another look backwards, letting the doors close on Deimos.

The yearning look is back twofold but it fades to resignation.

The last panel is artistic genius by our beloved Hamlet_Machine, a wide angle shot from above with Deimos slightly off centre. He's looking down, disappointed and alone in the vast room.

The Burning question still remains:

What is Deimos's relationship with Cain?

From the last few pages, we can guess that Deimos likes Cain and he likes the bad boy a lot. Perhaps he emulates all his badassery from Cain? We can also gather that Cain knows about it and discourages his little crush quite vehemently. As in with violence. Had it always been this way? Was there something more before Cain was partnered with Abel?

Maybe Deimos just isn't Cain's type. Perhaps, he just doesn't like his 'girlfriend's to be so obliging. Cain could be the type to love 'em, break 'em then leave 'em. In which case, Abel better watch out because there's no way he can escape from Cain now.

Nevertheless, I do hope that Deimos gets a happy ending.
